Andy Barker - Marketing Advisor

Andy is an expert in IT Marketing and Teleweb with broad International experience. In addition to his role at ApplianSys, Andy is currently Head of Digital Products at ViewSonic Corporation, the worldwide leader in visual display products.

He was Head of Volume Product & Marketing at Fujitsu Siemens Computers. Prior to this he was Head of e-Business and TeleSales for Xerox Europe, where he helped run and set-up Xerox TeleWeb Centres across Europe. He also ran the teams formulating and running all their eBusiness strategies.

He spent five years in Munich with Compaq Computer Corporation where he was Head of EMEA Channel Strategy. Prior to this he was Head of European Distribution for Compaq - controlling the selling and marketing of all the Compaq Volume & Enterprise ranges through International distributors.

Andy is the former Marketing Director of Virgin Retail and re-drew their strategy and store look to become the Mega Music, Mega Video and Mega Game outlets that you see today. He went on to be a founding director of GAME Ltd - the specialist computer and game stores.
